Upgrades, warranties, maintenance and outdoor improvements in one place.

When you list your home, buyers ask the same questions. How old is the roof? When was the furnace replaced? Are the windows original? What’s planted in the back yard? Most sellers know the answers are somewhere, in an old email, a credit card statement or a photo on their phone.
The Do you remember…? tab walks you through 21 quick questions, from shingles and the water heater to haskap bushes and septic pump-outs, with tips on where to find each answer. Add what you remember and tap “Not sure” for the rest. A rough year is fine. When you’re done, print your Home Updates Summary: a one-page list of updates by year, major systems, warranties and plantings, without costs. Bring it to your listing conversation with Clayton and Jessica.
The easiest time to start is right after possession, when your home inspection report, the property disclosure and the manuals left in the kitchen drawer are all in one place. Record the furnace, water heater and roof ages, note where your paperwork is kept and log your first furnace filter change. After your possession day walkthrough, it takes about 20 minutes, and you’ll be glad you did it when it’s time to sell.
Your records are saved only in the web browser you use, on that device. They aren’t sent to Clayton and Jessica or anyone else, and they aren’t backed up or synced between devices. Clearing your browsing data, using private browsing, or switching to a new phone or browser will erase them unless you have a backup file. Use Print & backup to download a backup now and then, and keep it in your email or cloud storage. You can restore it on any device.
Getting ready to list? Build a timeline with My Selling Plan, work through the room-by-room home prep checklist and read the Saskatoon Home Seller’s Guide, which also has a printable Home Improvement Record Sheet if you prefer paper. Yes, it’s free, and you don’t need an account or an email address. Open the page and start adding records.
Yes, unless you have a backup. Your records live only in your browser on that device. Download a backup file from the Print & backup tab every so often and keep it somewhere safe, like your email or cloud storage.
Records don’t sync between devices. To move them, download a backup on one device and restore it on the other. Restoring replaces whatever is already saved on that device.
The tracker doesn’t store files. For each record you can note where the original receipt or warranty is kept, and add a link to your own email or cloud folder. Keep the original documents.
Not necessarily. Coverage depends on the warranty’s own terms, conditions and any registration or transfer requirements. The tracker only shows the dates you enter, so check with the warranty provider.
The reminder dates the tracker suggests are general reminders only. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions, your home’s condition and any safety guidance, and use a licensed professional for gas appliances and electrical work.
Start with what buyers ask about most: the age of the roof, furnace, water heater, windows and air conditioner; renovations and whether permits were taken out; warranties that may transfer; and recent maintenance. Acreage owners should add well water tests and septic pump-outs.
No tool or renovation can guarantee a higher sale price. A clear record helps you answer buyers’ questions accurately and helps Clayton and Jessica describe your home’s updates when you list.
